装干电池：接电池正负极把15V干电池装入电池盒内，正极向上。
检查仪器：使用左右钢针短路（用手或金属连通）按下量程开关I，这时下面的一只发光管应发光。左右钢针开路（无导电物体连接时）按下测量开关，这时发光管应不发光，如果能达到上述要求表示仪器正常，可以进行测试
测量物体：（如测量皮革）把iHeir列表式湿度检测仪四钢针插入材料中深度约6mm左右，按下量程开关，读出显示器发光管发光对应的读数。如果按下的是量程I开关，则读左面一行读数。如果按下的是量程II开关，则读出右边的一行读数。

Install dry battery: connect the positive and negative poles of the battery, install the 15V dry battery into the battery box, and the positive pole is upward.
Check the instrument: use the left and right steel needles to short circuit (connected by hand or metal) and press the range switch I. At this time, a light-emitting tube below shall light up. When the left and right steel needles are open (when no conductive object is connected), press the measurement switch. At this time, the luminous tube shall not emit light. If the above requirements can be met, it means that the instrument is normal, and the test can be carried out
Measuring object: (such as measuring leather) insert the four steel needles of the tester into the material with a depth of about 6mm, press the range switch, and read the corresponding reading of the light-emitting tube of the display. If the range I switch is pressed, read the left line. If the range II switch is pressed, read the right line.

1. When pressing the range I switch, if the display does not emit light at all, it indicates that the reading is lower than 7%. If the display has only the lowest luminous tube emitting light, it indicates that the reading is higher than or equal to 15%. Press the range II switch and read again.

2. When the range II switch is pressed, if the display does not emit light at all, it indicates that the reading is lower than 16%, and it shall be read again by pressing the range I switch. If only the lowest luminous tube of the display emits light, it indicates that the reading is higher than or equal to 35%.

3. When the range I switch or the range II switch is pressed, if two adjacent light-emitting tubes of the display emit light, the reading can take the average value of the two digit reading, and the reading can be increased or decreased in proportion according to different brightness.

4. Replace the battery: if the above inspection fails to meet the requirements, the display is dim or the battery voltage is lower than 10V, replace the battery before use.
